We have lots of stuff going on in Cloud Computing. In daily life, we have to repeat same process time and again. For instance, we need to launch same instance with same configuration like security group, subnet, instance type, AMI, etc and doing that process again and again is really hectic and boring so why not automate that right? For both SAAS and PAAS based company, updating autoscaling group with new AMI and launch configuration/template is also become redundant, we can automate that as well where we launch instance from the AMI and again create AMI from the instance and update both ASG and launch configuration automatically. Didn't automation in cloud looks necessary now?I can automate job using CLI, CronJob, Terraform, Ansible and Lambda in any Linux distribution.
- Automate AutoScaling Group processes (single/multiple) such as triggering instance refresh, updating launch template version automatically and updating ASG details.
- Delete unused resources such as EC2 instance, volumes, snapshots, AMI, Load Balancer, Elastic IPs, etc automatically monitoring different attributes and states.
- Migrating instance, snapshots to different availability zone and regions.
